Who We Are
Believe In The Cure is a non-profit organization focused on adolescent and young adult cancer research and education, medical bill relief, cancer prevention education, creating awareness about our whole being, and thinking globally!
Founded in June 2011, by Joanne Filina, after a personal battle with Leukemia (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia), Believe In The Cure raises money for adolescent and young adult blood cancer research and education, provides medical bill relief for those suffering from cancer, and also creates awareness and education for cancer prevention.
"You are what you eat" isn't a cliche for Believe In The Cure. It is the basis for our awareness and education. And since it's no secret that many health problems stem from our eating, we believe that many cures stem from it as well. Staying healthy on the inside and bringing the mind, body, and spirit in harmony can prevent, and sometimes even cure cancer. You must believe in the cure for there to be a cure.
What We Do
Our mission as a non-profit organization is to make cancer a word of the past. How will we do this?
